This is the second book I have read by Ben Coes. My brother gave me his copy of Coes' book "The Last Refuge" a few months ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. "Eye For An Eye" is just a continuation of the story of Dewey Andreas, a tough guy ready to save the world. This book is a thriller in the style of Tom Clancy and Brad Thor. I bought this book and read it on my ipad.
The second book this month was "The Devil Colony" by James Rollins. I have read a lot of stories by Rollins over the years. They are all a bit farfetched, but very enjoyable. This story had elements of the Mormon religion in it which I find intriguing. This book was the hardback version.
Book three was purchased at Walmart for $6.99 and I read it in two days on my ski trip. It was "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. It is a dystopian novel for young adults. I have put the set of Roth books into my High School Library and I plan on reading the rest of the trilogy. Easy read and hard to put down.
Lastly I listened to a book this month. I purchased this audiobook from itunes and loaded it onto my iphone 5. It is by Brad Thor and titled "The Athena Project". The story was read by Elizabeth Marvel. Kody and I listened to it on our way to and from Fraser, Colorado. It helped to pass the time traveling to our ski vacation. It was on sale at the iTunes Store for $5.95. The story was about four women who just happen to be Delta force operators and they save the USA from an EMP bomb and a Nazi teleportation device. Classic escapism.
Till next time, Remember, Live Life at Full Speed!!
